Relatives Support

Following their close involvement with the admission procedures, staff will maintain close liaison with relatives or carers. The Care Home Manager will encourage the establishment of support groups for relatives as we recognize the emotional impact of admission and the complex feelings, experienced by all those close to a resident will experience during their stay.

Relatives will be welcome to speak to senior staff on duty at any time and visit whenever convenient. As a measure of security and in accordance with health and safety for residents, everyone visiting Betsy Clara House will be asked to sign in and out of the visitors book.
