Residents at Betsy Clara Nursing Home recently welcomed some rather unusual visitors, as a wonderful selection of snakes and lizards came along to spend the day with us!
Residents had the opportunity to get up close, meet the reptiles and, for those feeling brave, even hold and handle some of our fascinating guests. The visit sparked plenty of curiosity, conversation and smiles, with residents learning more about the different animals and their unique characteristics.
Animal visits are always popular at Betsy Clara, providing new experiences as well as wonderful opportunities for engagement and interaction – although these visitors were certainly a little different from our usual furry friends!
