Residents at Betsy Clara Nursing Home recently enjoyed a wonderful flower arranging activity, bringing plenty of creativity, colour and conversation into the home as we look ahead to the summer months.

The session gave residents the opportunity to create their own beautiful floral displays using a variety of colours, while also supporting dexterity, coordination and creativity in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.

Activities such as flower arranging are a fantastic way to encourage wellbeing, social interaction and reminiscence, with many residents sharing memories of gardening, favourite flowers and summers gone by.

At Betsy Clara Nursing Home in Maidstone, we are always looking for meaningful activities that support both physical and emotional wellbeing, while creating enjoyable experiences and a warm community atmosphere for our residents.

A lovely afternoon was had by all, and we are certainly looking forward to seeing even more beautiful summer flowers in the weeks ahead.
